IOOF Advice Academy

That’s why I am pleased to introduce a new initiative from IOOF – the IOOF Advice Academy.

The IOOF Advice Academy is a training and coaching resource that supports advisers in providing the consistent advice and education clients need to give them the best chance of reaching their financial goals. Our vision is to create an environment where ongoing financial planning relationships deliver consistent mutual value and enable clients to achieve their goals free from financial concern.

The Academy will present advice businesses with a front and back office client engagement model built to deliver on real client objectives. This client engagement model will also incorporate advice philosophies which complement IOOF’s open architecture view of providing quality, goals-based advice.

For advisers, the Academy’s methodology for evaluating client progress will result in increased client satisfaction and retention, and ultimately, increased profitability for your business.

Appointment of Dean Lombardo

I am also pleased to announce that Dean Lombardo will head up this business at IOOF. Dean has experienced our industry from almost every angle, from financial planner to business owner and author. Dean was awarded the 2012 AFA National Excellence Award, and is recognised as an expert in client engagement.

The IOOF Academy is another way we support advisers to build strong businesses and provide quality financial advice. In the months ahead, I look forward to sharing with you more information on the IOOF Advice Academy.
